We also collect information automatically when you use the Platform, including log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited), device information, and usage data such as posts viewed and interactions made.
We use the information we collect to: operate and improve the Platform; process payments and payouts; verify Twitch subscription status and tier levels; send transactional emails and notifications; personalize your experience; analyze usage patterns to improve our services; detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
When you connect your Twitch account, we access your Twitch user ID, display name, profile image, and subscription data for creators you follow. This data is used solely to provide the core functionality of the Platform — verifying your subscription status and tier to grant appropriate content access. We store only the minimum Twitch data necessary to operate the service. You can revoke SubsOnly' access to your Twitch account at any time through Twitch's Connected Apps settings.
We share your information only in the following circumstances: with service providers who help us operate the Platform (Stripe for payments, AWS for storage, Twitch for authentication); when required by law, subpoena, or court order; to protect the rights, property, or safety of SubsOnly, our users, or the public; in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to affected users); and with your explicit consent. Creator usernames and public profile information are visible to all Platform users. Content you post is visible to subscribers based on the tier settings you configure.
We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud prevention purposes. Content you have posted may remain visible to subscribers who have already accessed it during a transition period.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure credential storage using industry-standard hashing, and access controls limiting employee access to user data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication on your Twitch account.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze Platform usage. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until you delete them or they expire. You can control cookie settings through your browser, but disabling cookies may affect Platform functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate personal information; request deletion of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing of your data; and receive a copy of your data in a portable format. The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
